About the Artist

I've been painting for more than 30 years. Don't start guessing my age, please. My first and long-lasting love of media has always been watercolor. I began by painting with my mom in our breakfast room in San Antonio, Texas. She'd hang her paintings on the fence out in the backyard. It was her own gallery. 

I took classes from well-known watercolorists in Texas and then eventually realized that the only way I'd get better was to practice, practice, practice. I'm still learning the craft. I still love it!
